Hello!! I am Amanda (Mandy) Somerville!

I am so thrilled to be assisting you with all of your Disney travel experiences! My whole life I have been practically living, breathing, sleeping & eating (mmmm churros) Disney and their vacation destination. In fact, I am forever imprinted on the interwebs through Google Street view in my Fairy Godmother in Training costume from when I worked at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Walt Disney World. That’s right folks, my Disney knowledge not only comes from growing up down the street from Disneyland but I had the best boss in the world for many years, Mickey Mouse.

My love of Disney started when I was born in Anaheim, CA. Not only did I grow up watching the fireworks every night from my backyard, but we frequented the parks on a regular basis because once The Little Mermaid came out, Disney had my heart forever. I will always think of Disneyland as my home and I love sharing all of the magic that can be had there. I started my Disney career off at the Disney Store, and after 4 years transferred to Walt Disney World as a reservation Cast Member at the Disney Reservation Center, nothing brought me more joy than setting up magical vacations for guests on a daily basis.

When we received word that The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was opening up a new location at the Grand Floridian, I thought Fairy Godmother absolutely needed someone like me to help make our little prince & princess guests’ dreams come true! Nothing beats watching that magic not only in the children’s eyes, but also in their parents, as we made those transformations. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and our beautiful little shop closed its doors and I set sail for Texas.

My love and passion for Disney and the experiences haven’t faded, so I wanted nothing more than to start helping others experience the same magic I feel every single time I step foot on property, or look at pictures, or find a magic band shoved in some box I put away 5 years ago. My children have been lucky enough to grow up with Walt Disney World as their playground and Disneyland as a favorite destination, and I have booked many MANY trips from baby to teenager and know all the tips & tricks to keep kids in the moment and not too overstimulated.
