Disney vacations come in all shapes and sizes, and just like a Kilimanjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom, no two are the same. I have experience planning adults-only, kid-centric and multi-generational group trips – the Disney experience truly has something for everyone. There’s nothing better than watching someone experience Main Street USA for the very first time! So if your idea of fun is park-hopping, cruising through the Caribbean, a spa day, or even getting up before dawn to run many miles through the Walt Disney World Resort, I’m here to guide you through the in’s and out’s of park days to pool days.

My love for all things Disney started as a young child growing up in New England. I was lucky enough to visit the Walt Disney World when I was 4 years old, when my parents and I pitched our tent at the Ft. Wilderness Campground.  I was hooked from that moment. One of my first memories is watching “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” by the campfire. Many, many years later Snow White remains my favorite princess. While we weren’t one of those families that visited Disney Parks on a regular basis, we did have a weekly tradition of watching the live-action Disney films my parents grew up with. Films like “Old Yeller”, “The Swiss Family Robinson”, “The Parent Trip” (the original) – pretty much any Hayley Mills movie Disney made. And of course, Disney animated classics were also in regular rotation.

All that Disney movie-viewing helped grow my love further. Trips to Walt Disney World became a regular occurrence for me once I became an adult.  I’ve been an annual passholder for more than a decade and have had the opportunity to stay at 18 of the 24 Disney-owned resorts from value to moderate to deluxe and deluxe villas. I recently moved back to the east coast after spending more than 12 years in Los Angeles and I miss having the Disneyland Resort in my backyard. But I would love to share my list of tips developed from the more than 500 days I’ve spent exploring Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney during that time!

Through the years I’ve taken Disney trips with friends and family of all ages and I can’t wait to pass down my love for Disney to my own little one in the future!
