Hi!  My name is Tara Hackett!

Hello!  I’m thrilled to be working with MickeyTravels to bring you and your family a Disney experience they will never forget.  Planning a trip to the most magical place on earth may seem overwhelming, but rest assured I have the experience and love for Disney that is needed to plan a soup-to-nuts travel adventure.

My first trip to Disney was in 1982, shortly after EPCOT opened. Though my Dad carried me through most of the countries, I was captivated by a young age with every detail to be found in Disney World.  The question I asked a thousand times was, “How did they do that?” Though I’ve been to Disney many times since, I am still blown away by the level of detail and imagination that has been put into every aspect of Disney.  I’d like to share that experience with you.

In 2010, my husband and I became Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders.  Through this, I have gained a wealth of knowledge about the parks, restaurants, experiences and attractions.  I can help you make a custom trip that fits the needs of your family after quickly getting to know you by asking some simple questions.  In my own family, we have daredevils who love rides (me, me!) and maybe-not-the-bravest buccaneer (my husband!), yet we all enjoy Disney in our own way.  We have experienced it all, from fine dining to character meals and quick service stops to fireworks shows, parades and specialty experiences.

I live on Long Island in NY with my husband and two young boys, with our dog, “Mickey!”  Our love for Disney can be very easily shared through planning your vacation.  My goal is to have you asking yourself one question after your trip…”When can we go back?”
