Hi! My name is Kristy Bettenhausen!

My 1^st memory of loving all things Disney was right before I turned five years old. I vividly remember walking down Main Street USA and being mesmerized by Cinderella’s Castle. I’ve had that same feeling every time I’ve seen the castle since then. That very first trip, Disney World was just the Magic Kingdom, two resorts and the campground. As I grew up, so did Walt Disney World!

When I had kids, I wanted them to have the same love of Disney that I had and gosh do they! After a suggestion by my dad, my two daughters chose their college based on becoming Cast Members at Walt Disney World. Now as a Mom of four, including one with special needs, I have been blessed to travel to many Disney locations, almost 50 times but who’s counting. We have participated in multiple RunDisney Race Weekends, where we have met up with old friends, creating unique memories. I mean, who would have thought running 19.3 miles for a mouth-watering, two-tiered Disney cupcake would be so much fun! And don’t forget the Disney Race Bling! It’s off the charts!

As much as my husband and I love family Disney trips, there is nothing like an adults-only getaway. Most recently we drank and snacked around the world in EPCOT with several other couples. The fun, the food, and the friends, it gives you a whole new perspective and experience of the parks.

Over the years I have planned all my family’s trips to Disney. Planning any kind of vacation can be a challenge for a large family like ours, especially with an amazing kiddo who needs a little extra care. Throw in some extended family, it can really get crazy! Because of my love of Disney, every time a friend or family member decides to take a Disney vacation, I am the first person they call for advice and information. I have been helping others plan trips of a lifetime for decades.
