Hello! My name is Kara Mabrey!

I live in Atlanta, Georgia with my husband and 2 wonderful daughters. We’re what you might call a “Disney Family”!

My love of Disney started as a child with my favorite character Peter Pan. I love the idea of never growing up. Or, at least, never having to feel like a grown up! Walt himself once said, “Growing up isn’t simply getting old…Growing up is when you don’t believe anymore”. Disney is the perfect place to feel like a kid. Stepping into the Magic and Wonder of any Disney experience can make any adult feel like a 10-year-old again!

For me, Disney is all about family! My husband and I both grew up going to Disney World. We took our first trip there as a young couple 3 months after we started dating. Twenty-two years later, we have visited countless times with our daughters and extended family. Many of my most precious family memories are from our Disney vacations. My favorite Disney memory happened October 1, 2021. Our family was in EPCOT for the kickoff to Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration! We were able to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure on the official opening day and saw Harmonious on its first night, too! It was so wonderful to be able to share those special moments with my family.
