Jared Talbot – Florida Disney Travel Agent

Hi there! My name is Jared Talbot, and I am Disney Travel Planner with MickeyTravels!

To say that Disney has had a direct impact on my life and those close to me would be an understatement. I was raised in Massachusetts as one of five kids and from the year 2004 until 2018, my family and I traveled to Walt Disney World Resort nearly every year. Often, those trips have included my grandparents, aunts and uncles, and other members of our extended family. I saw the love of such a magical place in my mother’s eyes and I’m forever grateful that she shared that passion with her children.

I have shared countless memories with family, friends and now my fiancé thanks to the Walt Disney Company. I have been blessed to experience holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, surprise trips and more at the Walt Disney World Resort. I have also been fortunate enough to take a trip on the Disney Cruise Line and travel to Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Oahu. Perhaps best of all, in April of 2021, I gathered members of my family and my fiancés family to propose to my longtime girlfriend at Disney’s Riviera Resort in a surprise “Up” themed engagement.

My mother eventually turned that passion into a way to help other families plan magical vacations when she was selected to join the “Disney Moms Panel” in the year 2010. Now known as “PlanDisney,” she worked for years with the sole mission in mind to help others experience the magic. As I watched her passion and success, I quickly realized I wanted to follow in her footsteps. I received by bachelor’s degree from Flagler College in 2018 where I studied Journalism and Communications and decided I was ready to take a leap.

In January 2019, I moved from my hometown in Cape Cod, Massachusetts to Orlando, Florida with my now fiancé. I quickly set a goal to turn my passions for Disney and travel into a full-time career. I spent some time contributing to The Disney Blog as a writer and producer, and later went on to work as a Reporter for The Disney Food Blog and AllEars as well. Those jobs entailed going into the Disney Parks five days a week to find and report on new stories. I am blessed to continue to report on Walt Disney World Resort and beyond as a Social Media Content Manager for MickeyBlog.

This has all led to me joining this incredible team of Platinum Authorized Disney Planners here at MickeyTravels!
