Kari Bonds – New York Disney Travel Planner
Hi! My name is Kari Bonds!
I was born and raised in Melrose, Massachusetts but have called Ballston Spa, New York my home for 17 years. I graduated from UMASS Amherst with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration. I worked in Country Club Management before moving into the world of sales. Both require a high level of detail orientation as well as follow up, which I excel at. I then took a hiatus to stay home and raise my two daughters, now 16 & 18. After organizing my family’s lives for the past 18 years, I am excited to be able to put my skills to use for others by building exciting Disney vacations filled with all of the Magic and none of the stress!
My love of Disney began when my grandparents brought me to Walt Disney World for the first time when I was six. I was hooked! Subsequently as a child I was lucky enough to return with them along with my parents and brother on several occasions. Those multigenerational trips are cherished memories. As an adult I have been fortunate enough to continue making cherished memories by planning Disney vacations with my husband and daughters, along with my parents. We have been on multiple vacations to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Eastern and Western Caribbean Disney Cruises, and looking forward to our first upcoming trip to Aulani! We have spent many holidays including Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas at various Disney locations enjoying the extra Magic those times of year bring.
My love of Disney goes beyond just the parks. I love the movies, the music, the stories of the inner workings…in essence ALL of the Magic that Disney provides! Whether it be reading books, blogs, chat sites, or watching documentaries I have always had a thirst for as much Disney knowledge as I can find. As a young girl my dad would buy me the Disney VHS tapes as soon as they would be released from the vault and surprise me with them. I would watch them relentlessly! All of these years later I get to watch them on Disney+ with my own family cuddled on the couch.
As I get closer to being an empty nester, I am excited to put my time into my passions of Disney and travel planning by being able to make Magic for others “one vacation at a time”. Like VHS tapes to Disney+, the Disney Universe is always evolving. It can be overwhelming to stay “in the know”. I would love to be able to utilize my knowledge and excitement of all things Disney to plan an amazing Disney Vacation for you and yours! Whether it be Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Lines, Aulani or Adventures by Disney my services are completely FREE! The difference between having a good Disney Vacation and a magical one lies in the details. I would be delighted to make that Magic come alive for you!

We worked with Kari on our trip to Disney World this summer and I could not imagine ever working with someone else! We checked off all of our bucket list items (building droids and lightsabers), snagged all of the reservations (Ohana, last minute breakfast at Topolino’s, and even BBB!), and never waited more than 20 minutes in a line thanks to Kari and her team!
