Kathleen Bauer – NY Disney Vacation Planner

Hi, my name is Kathleen Bauer!

I love all things Disney and we are a Disney family! I’m happily married to Rob and we have 2 great kids. My husband is a huge Star Wars fan too! We even named our son Lucas so he could say, “Luke, I am your father”. True story! We first took Lucas to Disney World when he was just 18 months old for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party. Then when we adopted our daughter Jessica, we returned to Disney World. She was 20 months old and Lucas was 3. Since then, we’ve gone on a Disney cruise (they loved the kids’ club!) or visited the parks every year or every other year. We’ve been there for Star Wars weekend, the Flower and Garden Festival, the Food & Wine Festival and most recently, for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

My husband and I visited Disney World together before we had kids, with friends and family. Since having kids, I’ve also gone with my sister. A very special memory for us was when our Mom was battling a rare and aggressive breast cancer. When she could still travel, she took my sister and I to Disney World for a special week of creating magical memories that would last us a lifetime.
