Hi! My name is Darlene Rogers!

I am so excited to help you plan your next magical vacation! Before we start planning, I would like to introduce myself and let you know a little about my Disney experience.

When I was 10 years old, my mom and I took our first steps into Disney’s Animal Kingdom and to this day, I still get goosebumps remembering when I got to see the Tree of Life for the first time.  I was overcome with awe at the sheer scale and detail of every animal carved into the massive icon.  You guessed it!  Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park (and resort) are still my favorite and always a MUST for my Walt Disney World visits.  From that day forward, I realized Disney’s exceptional magic even in the smallest details. Today, I am thrilled to be a part of sharing that Disney experience with you.

For over 23+ years, my family has chosen to create lasting memories based in adventure and familiarity.  During my time vacationing with Disney, I have stayed at over a dozen of Disney’s resorts, visited all six theme parks and two water parks, voyaged on the Disney cruise ships of Wonder, Magic, Dream, and Fantasy for a total of seven cruises including Bahamian, Caribbean, Hawaiian, and Alaskan itineraries, and toured the breathtaking Aulani resort in Oahu.

Now an experienced Disney traveler, I live in Greensboro, North Carolina with my wonderful spouse, three dogs of all shapes, and an attitude filled cat.  My professional background is an executive assistant, so I live and breathe in the planning details. My experience involves a high focus on client satisfaction and creating experiences that you will always remember.  I have planned a wide array of travel including last minute trips, complex itineraries that require an abundance of communication touch points throughout the duration of the trip, and everything in between.

As a Disney Vacation Planner at MickeyTravels, my services are 100% FREE.  While I love Disney, sometimes it isn’t the easiest to plan with ever changing programs like Genie+, rotating events, fluctuating rules, and the big price tag attached.  Luckily, I love a good challenge and years of planning my own vacations definitely doesn’t hurt! Keeping up to date on new and upgraded resorts, park modifications, and special offerings is one of my favorite hobbies as these are all things that can add to memorable moments.
