Sydney Kidd – NC Disney Vacation Planner

Hey guys – I’m Sydney Kidd!

I am so happy you found us here at MickeyTravels – we are so glad you’re here!

I am a wife and stay at home mom to our little girl, Lily, as well a wedding planner out of Greenville, NC! My husband and I met in college here at East Carolina University and decided to put down roots and start a family.

Growing up, we both went to Walt Disney World very frequently. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, as I love to explore both new and familiar places. My husband and I hope we can instill that same love for travel and Disney properties into our family.

I still remember my first trip as a 1st grader over the week of Thanksgiving! My parents planned to go to EPCOT on Thanksgiving day and surprised me with a character breakfast at Akershus! My 6 year old eyes lit up as we walked into the princess haven and I was told each of them wanted to meet me – what an amazing feeling! We left the park that night reminiscing on the morning and strolling through mums and pumpkins. When we woke the next day, the entire property had been transformed! All of the fall decor had been replaced with garlands, wreaths, poinsettias and Christmas trees trimmed to the nines – it was pure magic!

While that exact scenario might not happen any more with the new parties and festivals, that magic lives on! I saw it in my nieces and nephew’s eyes when I got to see Disney from a kid’s perspective as an adult. I see it when I walk down Main Street and smell the confectionary for the first time on each trip.

Now, with a little one of our own, we are making it a priority to travel and see the world, but also find our home away from home in Disney! This starts with her first trip to celebrate her first birthday in April 2024!
