Hi! My name is Katey Varanelli!
Originally from Charlotte, NC, I went to Northwestern University in Chicago and now reside in Connecticut and help clients from all over the country plan magical Disney vacations!
I have been a huge Disney fan for my whole life, but developed a love for Disney Parks after a visit in college, when I decided that working at Disney was a dream of mine. I made that dream come true and participated in the Disney College Program twice in 2011 and 2012, and completed a Disney Professional Internship in Guest Relations in 2013, so I have a deep level of knowledge and experience with every Disney product! I truly consider Walt Disney World to be my second home, and I have ridden or experienced every single attraction in every park, eaten at almost every restaurant, and been inside every single resort. I have also tried many special activities that many people don’t know Disney has to offer, like backstage tours, dinner shows, horseback riding, and water sports. I even met my now-husband there while we were both on the College Program, and we later got engaged in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle in Disneyland and spent our honeymoon at Disney World. We are a Disney couple through and through!
Since I left Disney in 2013, I have returned multiple times a year and became slightly obsessed with runDisney, completing 6 races at both Disney World and Disneyland. Friends and family at home always ask me for vacation advice and help planning their Disney vacations, and I am so excited to combine my passions of Disney and travel planning to be able to help you plan your perfect, magical vacation with MickeyTravels!
