Hi! My name is Janine Angelo!
I am from Washington Township, NJ in Gloucester County and I am addicted to Disney, haha!! I’ve been married to my husband for 7 years and honeymooned in Disney October 2013 and we have a beautiful 5 year old princess who is also a Disney lover. She’s been to the parks every year since she was 18 months old and theres nothing like seeing the magic through your child’s eyes.
My love for Disney started in 1992 when I was 9 years old visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time. I have been there every single year since and my love for Disney grew into a passion. I am so blessed to be able to pass this tradition of mine growing up down to my daughter. I love all things Disney. It’s my happy place, my safe zone, and my home away from home. I cry happy tears when I arrive and literally sob when I have to leave.
Every year I look forward to my vacation. It never gets old to me. There’s always something new to see or try. As I love each park in its own way, I’d have to say Epcot is my favorite. I love the atmosphere and vintage park loops. My favorite resort is The Beach Club. I absolutely adore that resort! Best pool in property, 5 minute walk to Epcot and a boat ride away from Hollywood Studios (it will always be MGM to me). Oh and that amazing lobby smell!! My favorite place to eat for dinner is Cape May Cafe and I love Tusker House for breakfast.
I love all the attractions but for some reason Dinosaur in Disney’s Animal Kingdom always seemed the most fun, we would crack up and scream the entire ride. My all time favorite store to shop in on Disney property would definitely have to be Mouse Gear in Epcot. We shall see what the new construction has in store for us there. When people say find your happy place, mine isn’t just in my mind, it’s a physical place that’s filled with laughter, childhood memories and pure quality family time.
Just in the short amount of time that I’m in Disney World every year, that’s where I’m truly my happiest. I can be a kid again. I can rock my Minnie ears and not be judged, I can wear all of my favorite Disney tees and feel like myself. That’s why I love Disney, not because I’m childish but because that’s what makes me truly happy. Disney is my whole heart and soul!
