Hi, my name is Courtney Mischen!

I truly believe that you will never regret a family vacation; it is an investment with priceless returns. Disney and travel have always been two of my biggest passions in life, so I am beyond thrilled to work as a vacation planner with MickeyTravels and to help others become world travelers with the added bonus of Disney magic!

I live in Lexington, KY with my husband of 20 years and our two girls, Madeleine (12) and Gwendolyn (8). Prior to becoming a travel planner, I worked as a litigation attorney for many years and was then home with my girls for several years. Now, as a MickeyTravels vacation planner, I will take all the diligence and dedication to clients that I developed as a lawyer and put them into planning magical, unforgettable, and stress-free family vacations.

I have been inspired by the magic of Disney for as long as I can remember. I was a baby on my first trip to Walt Disney World, and I have now experienced Disney through every phase of my life. I have traveled to Disney World as a child, a tween, a teenager, a college student, a young adult with no children, a married adult with a dog but no children, a young Mom with a baby and then a toddler and a baby, and now a Mom with a tween and almost-teen. I have probably been to Disney World between 30-40 times throughout my life, and I am still excited every single time I go back, because I know each trip will be a new experience with new memories, depending on what our family wants in a vacation at that time.

The beauty of a Disney vacation is that you can make it into whatever you need it to be at that time.  Disney World is an incredibly adaptable vacation that offers a magical experience for every traveler out there, no matter their stage of life. If you are an adult without kids who wants to go with your significant other, you can turn a trip to Walt Disney World into a relaxing, romantic vacation filled with fine-dining reservations, cocktails in elegant venues or by beautiful pools, and moonlit strolls along sparkling bodies of water.

Or, if you are an exhausted parent who wants to take a fun but relaxing trip with your family, you might opt for a Caribbean cruise on board one of Disney’s spectacular cruise liners, where your kids will have the time of their lives in amazing kids’ clubs while you and your spouse get some much-needed time to yourselves.

Or, maybe your kids are obsessed with all things Frozen, and you want to take a once-in-a-lifetime trip that they will always remember; you might opt for an Adventures by Disney journey through Norway, where you will go on amazing Frozen-inspired expeditions, including a river-rafting adventure through the majestic mountains of Voss. Disney offers destinations and itineraries for every kind of traveler, so the only challenge is deciding when and where you want to go!
