Where are you from? South Alabama

First memory of Disney?  My first Disney Memory is of our family vacation when I was in the 5th grade… I remember that feeling on Main Street USA, how much fun we all had and especially riding space mountain for the first time!

What makes Disney MAGICAL in your eyes?  Ahhhh…..Disney Magic….The feeling of being transported to another place in time. All worries seem to fade away & I am surrounded by the true MAGIC of Disney….the sights, the characters, the familiar smells, the shows & rides….EVERYTHING that Disney is! PURE MAGIC!!

Favorite Disney destination and why? My favorite would have to be Walt Disney World – I grew up going for summer vacations with family and have been taking my children for family vacations for years now. I love that my children love it too!

Favorite Disney Character and why? Mickey Mouse is my favorite, I’m not sure why Exactly! He is just Pure Disney Magic to me & i’ve always loved Mickey!!

Favorite Disney Attraction and why?  I can’t choose just one I LOVE the Disney Mountains. (Splash, Space, Big Thunder & Mt. Everest)

Favorite Disney Resort and why?  Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is my favorite- I love the feel of the lodge, the decorations and theming, and I just love sitting on my balcony with morning coffee watching the giraffes & zebras roam about! The awesome pools & splash pad are an added BONUS we love!

Favorite Disney Restaurant and why?  I can’t choose just one! Chef Mickey is a definite favorite I think because for years I planned Breakfast at Chef Mickey the very first morning of vacation and what better way to start it off than with the Fab 5, a great Breakfast including a character parade, my kiddos standing in their seats, napkins swirling in the air , and my main man Mickey Mouse…..its PURE Disney Magic!!!!! I Truly have so many favorites I can’t list them all.

Favorite Disney Quick Service Restaurant and why?  Casey’s Corner…. I’ve loved it since I was a kid. Flame Tree BBQ…. because its just that good!

3 Disney characters you’d like to have dinner with and why? Captain Jack Sparrow…well, because ummm….Johnny Depp! 😀 Mary Poppins because she is my favorite, and Maleficent because she is my favorite disney villain and I think it would be really interesting!

Favorite Disney snack and why? I love love the Ice cream cookie sandwich from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street USA

Favorite Disney Movie and why?  Mary Poppins ….because she’s practically perfect in every way, but The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast are also at the top of my list!

3 Favorite Disney Songs and why?  Tale as old as time – Beauty and the Beast, At last I see the Light – Tangled, A whole new world – Aladdin ….well I love them all because I am secretly a hopeless romantic!

Disney character you’re most similar to and why? I’m going to say….Cinderella, because with all of my kiddos I feel like I am always cleaning & doing laundry! 😀

If you could be one Disney mascot for a day who would it be and why? I would LOVE to be MICKEY for a day! To Roam around the parks, bring Magic to so many and see the smiles on all those faces when they get to meet THE MOUSE!

If you could work at one of the Disney theme parks, what job would you want and why? I think about this question often & have changed my mind so many times from wanting to greet those who walk through the turnstalls in the Magic Kingdom, or the person who gets to choose a family of the day, a private tour guide in the parks or a character attendant but I really think I would LOVE a job on Main street USA. Spending all day every day doing just about anything just to be “walking right down the middle of main street U.S.A” , watch the trolly show, hear the dapper dans, & all those smiling faces would make my heart happy every single day!

Where are you from?  Erie, PA

First memory of Disney?  I was 12 years old and my family had been saving for years for our vacation first vacation to Walt Disney World and by saving, I mean every one of us. So, there was a real sense of achievement that came with being on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom for the first time. We’d worked so hard to get there and it couldn’t have been more magical

What makes Disney MAGICAL in your eyes? Regardless if you are aged 6, 60 or somewhere in between, Disney is bound to put a smile on your face.  It’s nice to have those moments of unbridled happiness with your family. You never forget those.

Favorite Disney destination and why? All Disney destinations are truly spectacular l but I would have to say Walt Disney World- because it’s the one I remember as a child.

Favorite Disney Character and why?  Mickey of course! Even at the age of 40, I still get giddy, at a loss for words and slightly emotional when he’s standing in front of me.  He’s a true icon.

Favorite Disney Attraction and why?  Haunted Mansion – The ambiance, the Imagineering and remembering that moment as a child when I saw the ghosts dancing in the ballroom and was just blown away thinking- How did they do that! It makes me smile every time and I don’t’ feel like I’ve arrive at Disney until I’ve ridden it at least once!

Favorite Disney Resort and why? – Animal Kingdom Lodge.  I will never forget the look on my daughter’s face when she saw a giraffe walking past her bedroom window.  This resort is beyond anything we’ve ever experienced and educational!  My daughter learned about animals, different cultures, art and music all during a 5-night stay.  Where else but Disney!

Favorite Disney Restaurant and why?  Be Our Guest.  Walking across the bridge on the way to Beast’s Castle just feels like your entering this fairy tale.  The theming is mind-blowing and makes you feel a part of the story, especially the gothic West Wing.  I also love that it’s only a quick service credit for breakfast or lunch so that you always feel like your bagging a bargain.  Oh and of course to eat the Grey Stuff….it’s delicious!

Favorite Disney Quick Service Restaurant and why?  Columbia Harbour House is another favorite option in the Magic Kingdom.  The food is great but it’s the upstairs seating area that really makes it one of my favorite places to grab a bite.  Head upstairs and it’s usually a sea of calm with lots of space to spread out.  You’ll almost forget that there’s heaving crowds just outside the window.  My daughter also likes the tuna sandwiches shaped like a fish!

3 Disney characters you’d like to have dinner with and why? Any of the Disney Villains and I’m so delighted to say that I have had dinner with a few of them at Club Villain, a special add-on event, at Hollywood Studios.  Hosted by Dr. Facilier from Princess and the Frog you get to wine dine and dance the night away with some awesome Disney baddies.  Watching my 6 year old teaching dance moves to Cruella de Vil is one of my favorite Disney memories ever!

Favorite Disney snack and why? I have to say the Le Fou’s Brew over at Gaston’s Tavern.  This frozen apple juice with a hint of toasted marshmallow and mango and passionfruit foam is positively perfect for those scorching hot theme park afternoons.

Favorite Disney Movie and why?  Tangled.  I discover something new about it every time and it always makes me laugh.

3 Favorite Disney Songs and why?  Grim Grinning Ghosts from Haunted Mansion, I’ve Got a Dream from Tangled and Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid- Because each of them is a regular fixture in my family’s Carpool Karaoke.

Disney character you’re most similar to and why? Edna Mode from The Incredibles because I’m creative, quirky, focused and always trying to “Live in the now.”

If you could be one Disney character for a day who would it be and why? Mickey Mouse because he just makes everyone smile!

If you could work at one of the Disney theme parks, what job would you want and why? I would love to be a Tour Guide.  I highly recommend going on one of Disney’s amazing tours where you learn about the history of the parks, get to see some behind the scenes secrets and get to experience a surprise or two.  I would love to bring that kind of magic and insight to guests! Every guide I’ve had has been an absolute credit to Walt’s legacy.

Best part about being a MickeyTravels Disney Travel Agent? That every day I get to work to help family’s feel as happy as I did that day I walked down Main Street for the first time.

Where are you from?  Bellevue, Nebraska

First memory of Disney?  When I was 7, I went to WDW for the first time.  The best memory from this trip was riding in the pink Dumbo elephant with my dad.  It was the only trip he would be able to make with us.

What makes Disney MAGICAL in your eyes? The way it makes you feel alive and innocent.  Whether through the movies or parks, Disney has a way of making people forget their troubles and enjoy their family and friends.

Favorite Disney destination and why? Walt Disney World, because it was the first resort I visited and holds the most memories for me.

Favorite Disney Character and why?  Dumbo.  I have always loved elephants and he just so darn cute!

Favorite Disney Attraction and why?  Kilimanjaro Safaris.  I spent a short time working at WDW on the college program they offer, and this was my job.  I got to drive the safari truck, learn about amazing animals and conservation issues, and really interact with guests.  Favorite job and best attraction!

Favorite Disney Resort and why? The Polynesian resort is my favorite.  I love the theming, the close proximity to the parks, and the amazing restaurants.

Favorite Disney Restaurant and why?  Kona Café – Love their Tonga Toast for breakfast, and Sushi for dinner.

Favorite Disney Quick Service Restaurant and why?  Be Our Guest (Lunch) because of the yummy food and awesome décor!

3 Disney characters you’d like to have dinner with and why? Marry Poppins because she would make sure everything was “Practically Perfect,” Goofy because he would keep everyone entertained, and of course Mickey! (Do I need a reason why for the Big Guy?

Favorite Disney snack and why? I always have to have a Premium Mickey Ears ice cream bar.  It’s tradition.

Favorite Disney Movie and why?  I love Beauty and the Beast because I have always felt a little like Belle.  I love to read and I care about everyone.  Plus I’m also a Librarian in my “spare time.”

3 Favorite Disney Songs and why?  Circle of Life, Beauty and the Beast, and When you Wish Upon a Star.  No reason why, just 3 of my favorites!

Disney character you’re most similar to and why?  Belle, because I feel like a version of her!  Books are my life.

If you could be one Disney mascot for a day who would it be and why? Mickey – he’s the best!

If you could work at one of the Disney theme parks, what job would you want and why? Besides the job I have already had (Kilimanjaro Safaris) I would love to either be an animal keeper, or make magic at Guest services.

Best part about being a MickeyTravels Disney Travel Agent? I get to share my knowledge and love of Disney with so many people AND from the comfort of my own home.  There is no feeling better than to have clients tell me they “couldn’t have done it without me!”
