Fantasyland is the setting for this iconic ride.  Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction is based on a character in a 1941 animated film.  This popular kiddie ride debuted in Disney World in 1971.  Currently the Dumbo ride is the process of being moved closer to where Mickey’s Toontown Fair was previously located.

Fantasyland Disney Ride

Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride is simple; however unlike its predecessor this goes counterclockwise.  Although they used the same body for the rides it features new color schemes of blues, reds, and golds which is a perfect fit for a circus theme after all the movie where this ride was based on was on a circus.

These flying elephants are attached to armatures which are connected to a rotating hub. You can sour up in the sky with Dumbo’s new found skills.  Guests can maneuver the easy to use joystick to maneuver Dumbo up and down.  Every child will love this classic ride and for the parents, Dumbo the Flying Elephant will bring back memories of their childhood.
