La Nouba at Downtown Disney

If you have a free evening while at Disney or if you want to treat yourself to an extremely special experience, it’s time to buy tickets to La Nouba at Downtown Disney!  La Nouba is an amazing show by Cirque du Soleil.  “Cirque” means circus and La Nouba is a circus of sorts, but not like any circus you’ve ever been to!  The performers will leave you stunned!  Everything you see seems impossible, and yet the performers make it look effortless.

There is no way to describe La Nouba other than to say you’ll spend most of it wondering how the performers can accomplish such acrobatic, athletic, graceful, and amazing feats.  The performers come from around the world to work with Cirque du Soleil and they are the highlight of the show, but the live music is also a wonderful accompaniment to the performance.

La Nouba is only performed at Downtown Disney at the West End.  There is no other place in the world to see this show.  Though tickets often book up early, a ticket can often be found

Tickets are around $78-$136/adult, $62-$109/kids.  Though ticket prices are high, they are less than the cost of many Cirque du Soleil shows around the world.  And this experience will not be soon forgotten. La Nouba is a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or just a special beginning or end to the vacation of a lifetime at Walt Disney World!

Several years ago, my husband and I went to La Nouba on a whim during a vacation at Disney.  We sat open-mouthed and wide-eyed through most of the show.  My husband, who never buys souvenirs, left with a t-shirt, a CD, and the DVD.  Sometimes he’ll put the music on while we are at home and it takes us right back to the amazing show!  If you go, you will not be disappointed!
