Kimberly Baird – Texas Disney Travel Agent
Hi! My name is Kimberly!
Anyone that knows me will tell you I have a passion for all things Disney! I will never forget the first time I went to the Magic Kingdom as a child. It is truly a feeling you never forget! There is magic in the air and you know you are now a part of something special. When you walk down Main Street and see Cinderella’s Castle for the first time or the 100th time…that childlike wonder fills your heart and you know you are home. I get just as excited every time I begin planning my own vacation or helping others plan theirs. There is always something new to see and explore, as well as revisiting the beloved rides, attractions and shows that you always look forward too.
Did I mention the dining yet?? If you haven’t experienced dining at Disney, you are in for a real treat!! There are so many options from character dining experiences, fine dining, quick service and not to mention the dining shows!!! It is no secret, there is something for everyone’s taste buds. One of my very favorite things to do when I visit the Magic Kingdom…and yes I do it every single time…is visit the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street. I make sure my entire family gets their favorite ice cream treat right before the Festival of Fantasy Parade and then we find the perfect spot to sit and enjoy our ice cream while we wait for the show to begin!! I would also like to share something a little more personal with you all.
I truly feel like I can really help the families that might think they could never enjoy Disney because a child or family member has special needs. Well, let me give you some amazing news!!! Disney goes above and beyond to accommodate any family that is in this situation!! I have a 9 year old son who is on the Autism Spectrum and also has Sensory Processing Disorder. He can get very overwhelmed in crowds, places with loud noises and has a very difficult time standing in long lines. This has never stopped us from enjoying any Disney Destination. In fact, he loves going and always gets so excited when it is time to go back!! I would absolutely love to share with you how to make your Disney Vacation as stress free as possible. I can give you tips on things like ways to avoid the longer lines, which shows and attractions might be a little scary for our family members with sensory issues and help for people with disabilities that require a wheelchair or scooter. These are just a few examples of course.
I just want you to know, that I will do whatever I can to make you feel at ease and comfortable with any and all aspects of your Disney vacation planning. This is truly a passion of mine and I cannot express enough how much I love what I do. I will treat your vacation with the same excitement and joy that I get when planning my own. I look forward helping you plan a vacation that you will cherish and have many magical memories for years to come!!
