Hi, I’m Melissa Chen! I’m a lifelong Disney fan, expert vacation planner, former corporate executive, and mom of four (two kids and two dogs).

I’m that friend who plans the vacations. The one who creates the Google Docs, books the best restaurants, finds the perfect place to stay, and somehow makes sure everyone gets exactly what they want out of their trip. Now, I get to do that every day, helping amazing clients plan Disney vacations that are easy and joyful.

My Disney Story

My love for Disney began when my parents took me to Disneyland in California at age three. My dad loves telling the story of how his friends said I’d be “too young” to remember it— which, of course, wasn’t true. At the end of our trip, I fell asleep on the drive home, and when I woke up, I cried harder than I ever had before because I thought we were still in Disneyland.

Since then, I have experienced Disney through every stage of life: as a teenager with friends, as a wife showing my husband Disneyland for the first time, as a new mom taking my infant (and now two toddlers), and as a friend on our annual college reunion girls’ trip. In the past year alone (even before joining MickeyTravels!), I have visited Disneyland three times, Walt Disney World, and Aulani.
