Hi there! I’m Kimberley, a passionate Disney vacation planner based in Massachusetts!

Like my fellow MickeyTravels teammates, my love for Disney runs deep, but it wasn’t until our family brought my father—affectionately known as “Grandpa Goofy” by his grandkids—to Disney World after he suffered a stroke that I truly understood  the magic of Disney. Paralyzed on one side and confined to a wheelchair, my father’s world had suddenly become full of limitations, but Disney gave him independence. Disney’s commitment to accessibility enabled him to move through the parks with ease, being treated with kindness and dignity by cast members who saw beyond the chair to the joyful, fun-loving man he was. For my mom, Disney provided a rare break from the challenges of caregiving. For our family, each trip was more than a vacation – it was a gift.

That experience inspired me in more ways than one—not only did I become the go-to Disney planner for friends and family (with nearly 30 trips under my belt!), but I also discovered the joys of runDisney while participating in numerous races to raise money for the American Stroke Association. To date, I’ve completed nearly 15 runDisney races, combining my love for Disney with my commitment to making an impact.
