Hi, I’m Amanda Huston — a Southern California native who has been visiting Disneyland since I was three years old. Growing up with the parks practically in my backyard meant Disney wasn’t just a vacation destination… it was part of my childhood, my traditions, and some of my happiest memories! Now, I get to relive that magic through the eyes of my own kids. We’re in the parks at least once a month, exploring new treats, catching our favorite shows, and soaking up every bit of pixie dust we can.

Even though Disneyland is our home park, my family also plans a yearly trip to Florida to get our Disney World fix. There’s something so special about experiencing both coasts — the nostalgia of Disneyland and the scale and variety of Disney World. And when we’re not in the parks, you can usually find us on a cruise ship. We’re a cruising family through and through, and I love helping other families discover how easy, relaxing, and magical a cruise vacation can be.

Because Disney has always been such a big part of our lives, I naturally became “the Disney friend” — the one everyone called when they needed help planning their trips. Friends would ask me to build itineraries, choose resorts, map out park days, and share all my tips and tricks. I loved every second of it. Seeing their trips come together and hearing how much easier and more magical their vacations felt made me realize how much joy I found in helping others experience Disney the way we do.

That passion is what ultimately led me to MickeyTravels. I wanted to take what I was already doing for friends and family and use it to help even more people create unforgettable vacations. Now, I get to combine my lifelong Disney experience, my SoCal roots, my frequent‑visitor knowledge, and my love of cruising to help families plan trips that feel effortless, personalized, and full of magic.
