Full Name: Sarah Elizabeth Stahr Trimpe
Where are you from? A little town in Central Illinois called Rochester.
First memory of Disney? My Disney story starts on Main Street, USA, in 1992. I was five years old and still remember being swept up in the magic: the smells from the confectionery, the bustle of the vacationers, and the breathtaking castle centered in the middle of it all. It was like being in a real life fairytale.
What makes Disney MAGICAL in your eyes? Disney has a way of making life better. Whether you’re snuggling in to watch a Disney movie, or traveling to a Disney Destination, Disney lets you escape into a world of make-believe and imagination. The Disney Theme Parks are truly the HAPPIEST places on Earth. From the time you arrive, to the time you leave, you are completely swept into the MAGIC that can be found around every corner. Disney prides itself on making sure that every guest is happy and enjoys every aspect of their vacation.
Favorite Disney destination and why? Walt Disney World is my favorite Disney destination because it’s where I fell in love with all-things-Disney, and got swept up in the MAGIC that flows through all of the parks.
Favorite Disney Character and why? I have a serious soft spot for the round yellow bear named Winnie-the-Pooh. He is kind-hearted, genuine and a wonderful friend.
Favorite Disney Attraction and why? Do I have to pick just ONE? My favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom are Pirates of the Caribbean because of its classic feel and entertaining animatronics, and The People Mover because I love putting my feet up, people watching, and getting to see Tomorrowland from a different perspective. My favorite attractions at EPCOT are Soarin’ due to its breathtaking views and its way of captivating the rider, and Figment because of its way of sparking imagination and creativity. In all truth I could also ride Living With the Land at EPCOT all day long, because I’m always amazing at the behind-the-scenes aspect of it. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I LOVE Toy Story Mania because of its interactive and competitive features. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom I enjoy the Kilamenjaro Safari’s because of the close-up views of all the majestic creatures, and the Festival of the Lion King show because of the gorgeous costumes, and immense talent of the performers.
Favorite Disney Resort and why? My favorite Value resort is Pop Century because I enjoy scanning through the memorabilia from each decade and reliving memories of the things I owned that are now considered “antiques”. My favorite Moderate resort is Coronado Springs because of the Southwest style architecture and El Dorado themed pool. The Polynesian is my favorite Deluxe resort because of its relaxing tropical feel, AMAZING luau, and convenient monorail station.
Favorite Disney Restaurant and why? Rose and Crown Dining Room in EPCOT’s World Showcase is my favorite Disney restaurant because of the fantastic view of the lagoon from the back patio and their AMAZING Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Favorite Disney Quick Service Restaurant and why? I think that Casey’s in the Magic Kingdom would have to be my favorite Quick Service restaurant because it’s a Main Street, USA classic.
3 Disney characters you’d like to have dinner with and why? Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, and Winnie-the-Pooh. All three of these characters are iconic to Disney and I’d love to spend an evening chatting, eating, and talking with them.
Favorite Disney snack and why? Any kind of ice cream! A Mickey Ice Cream Bar, a Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich, or a Dole Whip. They are all so tasty and a great way to cool off.
Favorite Disney Movie and why? Oh this is tough…I would have to go with Beauty and the Beast. It was the first Disney movie I ever own on VHS and I used to watch it over and over and over again as a child. It has so many amazing songs and enchanting characters.
3 Favorite Disney Songs and why? Just 3? That’s so hard. I would have to start with A Spoonful of Sugar from Mary Poppins, because it reminds us to look for the fun in all things. Then I would say, A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes from Cinderella, because it inspires so much hope. Lastly, I would include Hakuna Matata from the Lion King because it gives us a ‘worry-free philosophy’ to live by.
Disney character you’re most similar to and why? I would have to say Joy from Inside Out. Like Joy I try to find the bright side of every situation, and work hard to help everyone around me feel happy and content.
If you could be one Disney mascot for a day who would it be and why? I would love to be Cinderella for a day! Not only would I be able to bring joy and happiness to hundreds of guests, but I’d also get to be a princess, and have my own castle!
If you could work at one of the Disney theme parks, what job would you want and why? I think it would be awesome to help care for all of the animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I grew up on a farm and taking care of animals brings me so much joy!
