Disney. It’s NOT just for kids.
Adults at Disney
So, the kids are grown and the two of you adults are looking for a different kind of getaway…….how about DISNEY? Disney is not only for the young, it’s for the young at heart.
If you loved the Disney Parks WITH kids, why not try them again now that it’s just the two of you as adults? May I suggest a long weekend where you might enjoy among other things, Star Wars Weekends in May & June 2012, Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, March 7- May 20, 2012, or Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, September 28-November 11, 2012? Enjoy the parks as you never have before.
Been to the parks and cruising isn’t your thing? Then an Adventure by Disney may be just the ticket! You choose a destination from over 25 worldwide locales and let Disney do the rest. Arrive at the airport where you are met by your Adventure Guide who stays with you for your entire journey sharing their knowledge and passion for the places you visit while taking you behind the scenes at some of the greatest sites on Earth. From the Galapagos Islands, to the French and English countryside, there is an adventure waiting for everyone.
If you prefer very laid back, fun in the sun, golfing, and maybe just a little site seeing, you can head to one of the three Disney Resorts that have no rides or attractions, but where you CAN find fine dining, spas, pools, beaches, and world class golfing. Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa, on Oahu, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort, South Carolina, and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort in Florida, may be just what you need to relax, decompress, and reconnect.
I was sad when my boys grew up fearing that I was done experiencing the “magic” of Disney. Boy was I WRONG! My husband and I enjoy Disney as adults without kids just as much (maybe more), than we did with them. We no longer rush from ride to ride…we stroll hand in hand sipping drinks or eating Dole Whips, experiencing the parks and cruises in a different, but just as “magical” way. You can too. All you need is a little “faith, trust, and pixie dust.”
