Disney’s Pop Century Resort

If you’re looking for a hotel that is comfortable, convenient and budget minded, you’ll not want to miss a visit to Disney’s Pop Century Resort.  Celebrating the fads, fashions, toys and dances of the Classic years from the 1950’s through the 1990’s you’re certain to recognize icons from years gone by:

The 1950’s area of Disney’s Pop Century Resort features giant sock-hoppers dancing on the side of the buildings; the 1960’s reflect on a time of tie-dye and psychedelic colors; the 1970’s feature a Big Wheel and a classic Mickey Mouse rotary dial telephone; in the 1980’s section you’ll find 40 foot tall Rubik’s Cubes; and in the 1990’s area you’ll find a giant laptop computer and early-model cell phones.

Everything Pop is where you’ll go for your meals and shopping at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.  There you’ll find enough dining selections to satisfy every hungry mousketeer.  Choose from Greek salads, vegetable lasagna, shrimp stir-fry, hamburgers and more.  Of course there’s Mickey Waffles for breakfast!  And don’t forget to stop by the dessert counter for some Tye Dye Cheesecake on a red velvet brownie crust…

If you don’t want to spend your park time shopping, you’ll be able to find many of the same items in the other half of Everything Pop right next to the food court.  This is also where you’ll go for package pickup if you did make a purchase in the park and have it sent to your resort – another Disney resort guest perk!

With all of the on-site advantages and many of the same room amenities you find at the higher priced resorts you will not feel like you’re missing out on anything by staying at this Value resort.  The rooms at Disney’s Pop Century Resort are comfortable (who spends a Disney vacation in the room, anyway?), there’s always something exciting happening (dancing the “hustle”, movie time and more), great food and a little shopping.
