Disney’s Park Hopper

Base ticket or Park Hopper ticket…that is the question?  This may be one of the more difficult decisions for many guests visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland.

There are many advantages to upgrading to a Magic Your Way Base Park ticket to a Park Hopper ticket.   Most obvious would be the ability to visit more than one theme park on the same day.  As a matter of fact, you can visit all four theme parks on the same day if you were adventurous.  The biggest advantage with being able to visit more than one theme park on the same day would be the sheer flexibility Disney’s Park Hopper offers.

The Disney Park Hopper ticket allows guests to come and go from the theme parks as they wish, rather than being restricted to entering one park in the morning and not having the capability of visiting another theme park later that day.  Along the same lines, the park hopper is a great benefit when it comes to dining as well.  The reason being, is that you could go to a theme park in the morning and still have a wonderful dinner in another theme park that evening  For example, your family could be riding Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom in the morning and be dining at the Coral Reef in Epcot that evening.

When a family that consists of different aged kids or multiple families are traveling together, it’s very nice to have the flexibility to come and go with Disney’s Park Hopper than to have restrictions.  The best part about the Park Hopper option, is that it is the same price to upgrade one day or 10 days.  It is a one time cost and in my opinion, worth every penny!
