Hey y’all! I’m Erin Sheehy-Norton!

I live in Massachusetts with my husband, our two daughters, and our dog Lando. I was raised on Disney and we raised our kids the same way. My first trip was in the early days of the Magic Kingdom, I remember swimming at the Polynesian while watching the Electrical Water Pageant with my grandparents! The first time I brought my oldest daughter she wasn’t yet 2 and I was about 6 months pregnant with her little sister. For our next visit our youngest was a toddler, and my nephew was only 6 months old. Disney trips are a family tradition!

The world needs all the magic it can get, and where better to find it than at ‘The Most Magical Place on Earth’?! As Gen-X parents who had our little ones before we had cameras in our pockets all the time I credit our Disney trips as the primary reason we have so many pictures of our girls as they grew up. And because of this we now ALWAYS get the Memory Maker added to our tickets, I never want to miss an opportunity for a photo of my family.

As we entered the empty-nest years, my husband and I became Annual Passholders. We visit the parks a few times each year, making sure to attend a Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party while also spending a few days sipping and snacking around the world at EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival. Living in Massachusetts, and far from so many of our friends and family members, suggesting a meet-up in Walt Disney World allows us to recharge in the Magic while also getting quality time with people we love.

Having Disney as such a happy, and important part of our lives, it was a no-brainer that I would want to share that with everyone. I’m thrilled to be a part of MickeyTravels where I can share what I have learned with you!
