Hi! My name is Amanda Shellenbarger!
I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC), with lots of good southern charm. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Economics. I am married to my best friend, David and I am a devoted mom to 2 wonderfully amazing kids.
My first Disney trip was to Disney World in 1978 as a young child. Since then, I have been able to visit Disney World and Disneyland more than 20 times as a child, teenager, college student, wife and now as a mother. No matter the stage of life, there is something absolutely enchanting to me every time I walk into the Magic Kingdom and see Cinderella’s castle in the distance. When I walk through Sleeping Beauty’s castle in Disneyland, I feel like dreams really do come true! Seeing my children’s faces light up when they meet their favorite Disney character, eat a Mickey Ears ice cream treat, or fly with me on Dumbo is indescribable. From the smallest details in finding the hidden Mickeys to dining inside of Cinderella’s castle, everything about Disney is absolutely magical! I think my daughter described it best when she said “Mommy, all my dreams really do come true at Disney World.”
