Hi! I am Lisa Goss-Hopson!

I’m a middle school teacher from the Metropolitan Detroit, Michigan area. This past school year, I completed my 30th year as a teacher, 26 of those years have been in the same classroom!  I’m happily married to my husband Brian, a sales analyst for General Motors. My only daughter Christa is a 12-year old, Disney lover and trivia whiz!

My fascination with Disney began as a child reading such Disney classics as 101 Dalmatians, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. I remember pouring over my favorite titles to the extent that my mother would have to purchase me new copies of my favorite tales every year. My love for all things Disney related continued to grow throughout my adolescence, but I didn’t take any trips to any of the Disney Parks until my graduating class visited Magic Kingdom during our senior class trip. I distinctly recall the feeling of dread that swept over me as our leading chaperone announced that it was time to return to our hotel. At that moment, I made a vow to myself that I would return someday, to spend more time at the most Magical Place on Earth!

Over two decades passed before I fulfilled the promise I made to myself back then. Since then, Disney has become a way of life for me!  To assert that we are a “Disney Family,” would be a colossal understatement!  As Annual Passholders, we take multiple trips per year “Home,” to the Walt Disney World Resort, where vacationing “in the Disney Bubble,” is a requisite! The breathtakingly scenic Crescent Lake/Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach Club area is our absolute favorite place on earth! We have two Disneyland vacations planned for next year, as well as a cruise aboard Disney Wish, the newest addition to Disney Cruise Line.

I am prompt in responding to all forms of written and verbal communication, especially when it pertains to helping families to plan their first or next Disney vacation. The people I’ve helped to plan Disney vacations for in the past, have been well pleased and have even recommended that I’d become a travel agent. I’ve provided the price-points and the advantages of choosing to stay at value, moderate and deluxe resorts as well as Good Neighbor resorts. I’ve helped them book dining reservations as well as provided them with transportation options to and from the airport and around the property.
