Name: Kristin Klutz

Where are you from?  Winchester, VA

First memory of Disney?  My first visit was December 1996. We arrive to Disney and headed straight to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. It was “snowing” on Main Street and it was pure magic!

What makes Disney MAGICAL in your eyes? Everything! The sights, sounds, and smells totally transport you into a different world where everything is amazing. The detail that goes into EVERYTHING is spectacular and truly one of a kind. There is no place that makes me feel the way I do when I am in Disney.

Favorite Disney destination and why? Disney World! There is so much to do and see that I can literally do something new each time I visit (which has been many, many times over the course of 20 years). People ask me all the time if I ever get bored of visiting Disney World so often. The answer is simple- NO! How could you get bored of your favorite place on earth when there is so much to take in? Disney World is great for any age because there is something for everyone, such as taking a leisurely ride on the Walt Disney World Railroad, seeking out thrill rides like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, enjoying shows like Festival of the Lion King, or catching some waves at Typhoon Lagoon. With 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, Disney Springs, golf courses, Disney’s Boardwalk, spas, and not to mention all the amazing things that each resort has to offer, how could you possibly want to vacation anywhere else?!

Favorite Disney Character and why? Ariel! She is my favorite Disney princess! Ariel is a free spirit and very passionate. I love that she goes after what she wants and doesn’t let anything hold her back!

Favorite Disney Attraction and why? It’s definitely a tie between Carousel of Progress and Tower of Terror. Carousel of Progress has a very nostalgic feel to it. I have loved it since my first visit and it is a “must do”. Tower of Terror is just a fun thrill ride! I love the old Hollywood theme and that each ride is a little different than the last. I could ride it over and over again and get the same excitement each time.

Favorite Disney Resort and why: The Polynesian. I love everything about it- the way the lobby smells, the orange, yellow, and brown buildings, watching Wishes on the beach, Capt’n Cooks and Tonga Toast, Ohana, the Spirit of Aloha dinner show….the list could go on. It takes me to 1971 (15 years before I was even born) when the Walt Disney World Resort first opened. I love hearing stories from family members that have stayed there and what it was like. It truly gives me “all the feels” of Disney.

Favorite Disney Restaurant and why? Hollywood and Vine. The food is amazing! My family really enjoys the Disney Junior Play n Dine lunch. The Disney Junior friends are so cute and it is a really fun experience! Dinner is delicious too and I am really happy they have add a character experience with Minnie!

Favorite Disney Quick Service Restaurant and why? Pinocchio’s Village Haus located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. The flat bread pizzas are my favorite! I also really enjoy grabbing a table by the windows to watch other guests take a ride on the happiest cruise that ever sailed- it’s a small world. J

3 Disney characters you’d like to have dinner with and why? Anastasia and Drizella (they count as one person, right?!) because they are hysterical and very entertaining! Ariel, because she is my princess idol, and Mickey because it all started with him.

Favorite Disney snack and why? A Mickey Ice Cream Bar or a Dole Whip! Both snacks are perfect to refuel during a busy day at the parks!

Favorite Disney Movie and why?  The Little Mermaid. It was my favorite as a little girl and I have loved it my whole life.

3 Favorite Disney Songs and why?  “Under the Sea”- this song just makes me so happy! The entire “Wishes” soundtrack- I picture watching fireworks in front of Cinderella castle. It truly brings tears to my eyes. “You Can Fly”- Peter Pan is one of my favorite characters and attractions. When I listen to that song, I feel like I am in Fantasyland heading off to Neverland.

Disney character you’re most similar to and why? Daisy Duck because I’m a little bit sweet and a little bit sassy. I love Daisy’s attitude!

If you could be one Disney mascot for a day who would it be and why? Minnie Mouse! Who wouldn’t want to be Mickey’s arm candy?

If you could work at one of the Disney theme parks, what job would you want and why? If it was possible, I would LOVE to be the Mayor and open up the Magic Kingdom. The Welcome Show is one thing I make sure to see at least once each visit and I cry every time! There is SO much magic watching the train come into the station with all the characters on it and then one lucky family getting to help open up the park is so special. It would be an awesome job to have!

Best part about being a MickeyTravels Disney Travel Agent? The magic of helping other families plan a memorable trip to a Disney destination! We are an elite agency and it is a privilege to be a part of the MickeyTravels family.

Why should I book my vacation with you? I take each vacation and treat it as if it were my own. I tailor each trip to fit the needs of the client and their family. I want every Disney vacation to be magical!
