Today the spotlight shines on Lindsay Near from North Carolina!

Name: Lindsay Near

Where are you from? North Carolina, but we are a military family so we have lived many places!!

First memory of Disney? My first Disney memories consist of the sweet smells of walking down Main Street for the first time followed by riding Splash Mountain with my mom directly behind the characters as the first ride of the day!! Such a fun experience!!

What makes Disney MAGICAL in your eyes? I find Disney Magic the most magical when seeing Disney through my child’s eyes!! Going with my children has completely grown my love of Disney to a whole new level!! There is nothing like watching your child meet their favorite Character, take in the rides, and watch the parades. It is TRULY MAGICAL!! And I can’t get enough!!

Favorite Disney destination and why? I’m a Disney World girl for sure!! I love it for the full experience, resorts, restaurants, and the PARKS!! There’s just so much to do.

Favorite Disney Character and why? If I had to pick one I would say Mickey!! It just isn’t Disney without Mickey Mouse!!

Favorite Disney Attraction and why? It just isn’t a Disney trip for our family if we don’t ride Pooh at least 3-4 times!! So I’d say that’s a favorite for sure, but I really love them all!!!!

Favorite Disney Resort and why?  My favorite Disney Resort is the Polynesian!!!! We stay there almost every trip because we LOVE it that much!! Can’t beat the location, pool, and atmosphere! I mean swimming with a view of the castle, watching Fireworks from the beach, and the sweet smells of Hawaii. Oh, and DOLE WHIP! Seriously can’t be beat!!

Favorite Disney Restaurant and why? I think my favorite Disney restaurant would have to be 1900 Park Fare for brunch!! I love the interaction with the face characters and food is AMAZING. If you haven’t tried the Strawberry soup you are missing out!

Favorite Disney Quick Service Restaurant and why? Cosmic Rays… Sometimes a good burger and fries is just what the doctor ordered!!! I mean who doesn’t love eating with your favorite singing alien too.

3 Disney characters you’d like to have dinner with and why? Mad Hatter, Goofy, and Jasmine!! Wouldn’t that be a fun and lively table!

Favorite Disney snack and why? Apple Pie Candy Apple!! Delish. But really, I love them all!!

Favorite Disney Movie and why? All-time Favorite Beauty and the Beast new/current Favorite MOANA!! I can’t get enough of that soundtrack.

3 Favorite Disney Songs and why? The entire Moana soundtrack. I’m hooked!!!

Disney character you’re most similar to and why?  Okay are you ready for this…. Jasmine, I love to travel and see the world. I am a cat person. I can be stubborn at times.  I married a man who in his childhood/teen years could’ve been considered a “street rat” to some. Once we were married his career allowed us to travel and see the world. I discovered he was a true Diamond in the rough! ? Lastly, I am a daughter of a king (my Lord and Savior Jesus) making me a princess!! Bam… Jasmine!!

If you could be one Disney character for a day who would it be and why? The Mouse!! I would love to see all the Magic through his eyes…. After all it was all started by a mouse!!

If you could work at one of the Disney theme parks, what job would you want and why? I would love to work in Guest Services and help make Disney Magic all day!!
