Whispering Canyon Cafe

“KETCHUP!!!! We need KETCHUP!!!!” As 10-20 bottles of ketchup suddenly arrive at your table, you realize why the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Walt Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is one of the more entertaining dining options available outside of the Parks.

“Old Western” is the theme at the Whispering Canyon Cafe where you are taken to your Cowboy & Indian chairs by a sassy Cast Member.  Rough hewn log walls/ceilings, a large stone fireplace, and buffalo-inspired chandeliers welcome you as you walk through the restaurant.

Drinks are served in glass jars and food is delivered on all you care to enjoy family platters.  The Whispering Canyon Café restaurant accepts reservations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Yeehaw!

Kids of all ages enjoy the entertainment at the Whispering Canyon Café that includes sing-a-longs and hobby/wooden horse races.  And, the restaurant’s most popular activity?  Each time a patron asks for ketchup, the waiter/waitress shouts to ask the rest of the restaurant to bring a bottle.  Kids rush from everywhere to bring the ketchup from their table, and smiles abound when you see your table covered in red squeeze bottles.
