It’s a Small World – Classic Disney Boat Ride

It’s a Small World!  If you are planning to visit Disney World a must see is Disney’s classic It’s a Small World ride.  It is almost like traveling around the world in 10 ½ minutes.  It’s a Small World is a gentle boat ride gliding along the international waters.  While enjoying the moving dolls from the different parts of the world you will find yourself singing along to the tune of “It’s a Small World.”

Disney is a place to have great time with family and friends but it is also an excellent place to learn.  As you enjoy the gentle boat ride you can teach your children about the different cultures of the world.  While people may look different we are all part of this “small world.” Inside this tunnel you will see whimsical dolls dressed in their respective national costumes as they sing “It’s a Small World” in their native tongue.  This ride will certainly put a smile on your children’s faces and of course yours too.

Even if the tunnel is dark the moving dolls, animals, and props are colorful and whimsical nothing scary and it makes me think the world should not be a scary place at all.  Just like what the song says, “There is so much that we share that it is time that were aware it’s a small world after all.”

This 10 ½ minute boat ride feels a lot shorter because there is so much to see.  This is a Disney classic and it is a must see.  It’s a small world after all!  Enjoy your world travel in 10 ½ minutes.  Of course take note of the grand finale, postcards from different parts of the world.
