Today the spotlight shines on Heather Goldstein from Chester County, PA!

Name: Heather Goldstein

Where are you from? Johnstown, PA and currently live in Chester County, PA

First memory of Disney? My first Disney memory is watching Sleeping Beauty as a little girl and instantly falling in love with the magic of the film. The fairies, good versus evil, and the happy ever after that Disney movies are known for had me from that moment on!

What makes Disney MAGICAL in your eyes? Disney is MAGICAL because everyone can find something about Disney that truly makes them happy. Young and old, whether watching the films, touring the parks, on a cruise or touring the world, something that is going on will make someone smile. It is truly MAGICAL to see the beautiful memories that can be created through Disney!

Favorite Disney destination and why? I am a Walt Disney World girl! Something about driving under that sign when you arrive transforms you for the entire time that you spend there. It is beautiful to watch the awe and wonder through my children’s eyes, trip after trip. And it is amazing that each trip feels like a totally different and magical experience regardless of the fact that we have seen a particular show or eaten at a certain restaurant before.

Favorite Disney Character and why? Maleficent! There is something about her that I have always loved. She is such a powerful character. I was so happy to see her story brought to life in 2014!

Favorite Disney Attraction and why? Toy Story Midway Mania! Each time we ride has become a little competition for myself and my husband-and he can never beat me which makes it that much more fun!

Favorite Disney Resort and why? I have two, and I can’t pick! Boardwalk Inn and Beach Club. The location of these two can’t be beat, the Beach Club has an amazing pool, and both give you the ability to walk into Epcot and walk or take a boat to Hollywood Studios. Plus, with a park hopper ticket you can also take a nice walk through Epcot to get to the monorail for Magic Kingdom. I love Epcot and find it so great to be able to head right into the park at night to watch Illuminations and walk around the World Showcase.

Favorite Disney Restaurant and why? California Grill. The food is amazing, and we love to get a late reservation and watch the fireworks in Magic Kingdom while we are there.

Favorite Disney Quick Service Restaurant and why? Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafe in Animal Kingdom. My family loves lo mein and the honey chicken is so good!

3 Disney characters you’d like to have dinner with and why? Fairy Godmother, Genie and Sorcerer Mickey! While I was tempted to say Maleficent, Jafar and Dr. Facilier, I think I would prefer a lot of good magic all around the room as opposed to evil magic!

Favorite Disney snack and why? Lefou’s Brew at Gaston’s Tavern. It is just really good!

Favorite Disney Movie and why? Beauty and the Beast. It just always has been since it came out, and I can’t explain a particular reason why!

3 Favorite Disney Songs and why? In Summer (who doesn’t love Olaf?), Reflection, because I think Mulan is one of the coolest princesses ever, and A Whole New World. That scene in Aladdin is one of my favorite scenes in a Disney film!

Disney character you’re most similar to and why? Merida. She is strong willed and independent, yet very kind hearted.

If you could be one Disney mascot for a day who would it be and why? Belle. I absolutely LOVE the yellow ball gown and it would be amazing to be able to wear it for a day!

If you could work at one of the Disney theme parks, what job would you want and why? I would want to work in the Tower of Terror at night! So much fun watching how that attraction takes on a whole new level of “scary” when it is dark!
